Getting caught up in the American dream, the young director wrote a screenplay for a B movie and went to Hollywood to shoot it. But big butts didn’t produce big bucks, and the flick flopped. Poetic justice, perhaps? Some six years later she returns to the “scene of the crime” to try and understand what went wrong… and in a wry documentary dissects her Hollywood misadventure, reasserting her true values as she analyses her movie in terms of the imperatives of erotic films. Never flagging nor flinching, the documentary is a clear-eyed look at the bad rap women get for associating themselves with the erotic film industry.
